With her eighth project underway, Tash continues her mission to elevate Gloucester into a vibrant hub of creativity and culture, aiming to put the city firmly on the map as a destination for artists, innovators, and cultural enthusiasts alike.
High Street Tredworth 2024
High Street Tredworth was transformed into a vibrant tapestry of creativity, celebrating art, culture, and community. Tash Frootko has curated a huge outdoor gallery, creating the most decorated street in the City of Gloucester!
Tredworth Infant School 2023
Tredworth infant school ‘The Hive’ building was brought to life with a rainbow of colours. Encouraged to go as bright as possible, Tash, her partner Stuart and the children embarked on a creative journey that resulted in a sensational transformation.
Hopewell Street 2023
Hopewell Street Gloucester came alive with colour and creativity in 2023. The houses were painted vibrant colours, a community garden was created and murals adorned houses.
Rainbow square 2022
Tash's third project, affectionately named "Rainbow Square," has become a beacon of creativity and community spirit in historic Gloucester. This vibrant square, adorned with her trademark vivid colours and stunning murals by artists Zoe Power and Eloisa Henderson-Figueroa, has transformed Nettleton Road, St Kilda Parade, and Station Road in Gloucester.
Rainbow Ripple Street 2021
The success of The Rainbow Street Project in 2020 inspired residents of nearby Sebert Street to undertake a similar endeavour, painting their houses in colourful hues sparking a ripple effect. By involving Tash in their project, they continued spreading the positive influence and expertise to another part of the neighbourhood, further enhancing the sense of pride and unity.
Rainbow Street 2020
St Mark Street in Gloucester became ‘The Rainbow Street’ in 2020 when 40 houses were painted in a wonderful rainbow of colours. The project has not only encouraged community spirit, but has seen people travelling to see the street in all it’s colourful glory.
Nettleton Road 2018
In 2018 Tash Frootko initially painted two houses on Nettleton Road. She persuaded the rest of her neighbours to become part of this dramatic new look and soon enough the street was gaining media attention both nationally and internationally. Families on Nettleton Road in Gloucester, say that the splash of colour has really brought the community together and they are proud of their street.
