Visit Gloucester - English Tourism week

Local artist Tash Frootko and her team have been transforming areas of Gloucester since 2018.

'Rainbow Square' saw Tash returning to the area that started her street painting journey back in 2018. The aim was to transform this entire area of Gloucester’s city centre which included the painting of 25 houses on 3 adjoining streets, Nettleton Road, St Kilda Parade and Station Road linked by 2 giant murals. The colourful project attracts lots of attention and makes the most amazing backdrop for photographers.

Other brightly coloured projects include High Street Tredworth, where Tash and her team decorated over 60 buildings along a 0.3 mile stretch. High Street now also features multiple murals by local, national and international artists. Hopewell Street is another rainbow within the city, the entire street and its adjoining areas saw colour and creativity added to the buildings. 63 houses were painted in Frootko's trademark vivid colours.

Maps to tour these areas and Tash's other projects can be collected from the leaflet box outside 86 High Street GL1 4SS.
